A person in the Dance who i admire

Today i'm going to write about Martha graham. She was an american modern dancer and choreographer. Her style of dance was characterized of contactions and relaxation, falls to the floor and men's jumps.
In 1926 she founded her company "Martha Graham's dance company", in 1932 she graduated of bachelor of art in dance in the Bennington University and in 1951 she created the division of dance in Julliard.
In 1936 with the work "steps in the street" she brought to the stage the sirius problems that were experimenting the people in the public, in that time, in a dramatic way. She get inspired by the collapse of Wall Street, the Great depresion and the second world war. Her dance was focus on the depresion and isolation and that was reflected in the darks scenographys and clothes. That defined a new style of dance and it's used today for many artists.
I choosed this person because two years ago a took my first workshop of contemporary dance and there the teacher made a short secuence in wich put some movements of graham tecniques and he told us that we can search on youtube some videos to see dancers of her company in action.
